Hanging Drop Test
Pre test Information : No Special Preparation Needed
To assess the degree of microbial mobility in the stool, the hanging drop test is applied to the stool. This test, also known as the Hanging Drop for Vibrio Cholerae Dark Illumination Stool Test, is used to identify Pseudomonas infections and evaluate how well they are being treated. Both mobile and immobile organisms can be found in faeces, and the outcome and course of treatment are determined by the mobility of the cellular organism.
