Pre test Information : No Special Preparation Needed
An ultrasound or USG of the lower abdomen called a "USG KUB test" evaluates the health of your kidneys, ureters, and urinary bladder (KUB). This test also examines the prostate gland and seminal vesicles in males.
If you exhibit symptoms like frequent urination, unintended pee after coughing and sneezing, inability to postpone the need to urinate, and straining while urinating, a KUB ultrasound is performed.
This test is typically recommended to identify structural anomalies in the KUB region, changes in kidney size, indications of kidney disease, the presence of blockages including kidney stones and tumours, and kidney damage. This inexpensive, non-invasive imaging technique has low radiation exposure, making it safe for expectant mothers.
