Pre test Information : No Special Preparation Needed
The TPHA blood test is a simple blood routine that does not necessitate any special preparations. A sample for the test is drawn by inserting a needle into a vein in your arm. It is then sent to the lab for further analysis. The TPHA test procedure is carried out in the lab using a test card with three wells.
The serum sample is placed in the first 10μL of each patient. The diluent is then added in 190μL increments and mixed with a micropipette.
75μL of the control cells were placed in the second well.
The third 75μL of test cells are added. Following this, 25μL of diluted serum is added to each well and thoroughly mixed. The plate is then incubated for 45-60 minutes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. It is required to run a positive and negative control along with the test serum.
